A new adventure...no I'm not pregnant

Hi Friends and Family,

I wanted to let you know about some recent changes that I have made in my life. After having shoulder surgery last December I found myself “out of commission” should we say physically. I was told that the recovery time would be 3-6 months and during that time it would be very difficult to exercise normally. I didn’t think it would be too bad; I would just push off my “New Year’s Resolution” to May/June.

During this time I found it really convenient to eat whatever I wanted and sometimes more than I should. By the time May rolled around I was pushing the heaviest I had EVER BEEN in my life. I hated shopping for clothes because the sizes I wanted didn’t fit. I was pretty discouraged because I still had no motivation to go to the gym and still do feel pretty limited in my physical abilities and strength. Something had to change and I wanted to make a change that would be a lifestyle of eating healthy and exercising regularly.

Erik and I talked…prayed….talked….set goals…talked more and found ourselves exploring the option of Take Shape for Life. We talked to our friends who had told us about the program and decided to make a life change and we signed up. We started the program May 24th and as of today (6 weeks later) Erik has lost 30lbs and I have lost 18lbs. We are learning how to properly view food and how to make wise decisions with our health.

We are totally excited about this life change and are so impressed with Take Shape for Life that I (Kristin) have decided to become a health coach in the program. As a health coach I have the opportunity to challenge and encouraging people on the Take Shape for Life program. I am paid by the company to be the support system/coach so my help is free to you.
